Reports Breeding

The reports geared specifically to Mares are:

• Mare Summary List
• Foaling Schedule
• Foals List
• Mare Progeny List
• Mare Departure Form

All the reports have extensive report selection criteria that will enable you to filter the contents of the database.

In addition, a previous breeding year can be chosen for the basis of the report.

If all the mares in the system are to be shown, leave the default settings to ‘All’

Mare Summary List

Report will show: mare name and age, last stallion visited, her start status or the foal due date. Foal details, foals that died are denoted with an *.

Stallion name being used this season and the Last Service Date.

Also printed are her current reproductive status as per her season’s breeding record, date of vet check and the elapsed days since LSD.

Pregnant mares are shown in Red. The above data can be entered manually onto her record, or the system will update this automatically from the covering and vet records posted through the system

Final Totals are shown with a % in foal calculated on the mares:

A mare is tested if there is a Vet check record entered after her Last Service.

Foal List

A list of foals in order of date of foaling.

Shows dam, covering sire, foal colour and sex and any foaling notes. A total of colts and fillies are shown at end of report.

The report can be run for a specified date range.

Foal Schedule

This report will show the mare’s foal due date based on her last service date, and covering stallion.

The mare must have a positive pregnancy status to be included on the report.

The report can be run for current or future season.

Mare Progeny List

This report will pull all the elements of a mare’s history together to give:

• Mare’s pedigree with in-breeding
• Mare’s current breeding status
• List of her foals with race details and sales results
• Mare Notes

Mare Departure Form

Report shows all vet, farrier, cover and foaling details for the date range requested in date order. For mares, her breeding status for last and current seasons is printed.

The content of the detailed form is decided by the settings found on each of the Vet and Activity code records.
